How conflict-aware voice scheduling works
Hotkey to speak to draft with eyes open
Hold your system-wide hotkey, say the meeting or change, and CalendarFlow builds an editable draft. If that draft overlaps something already on your Google Calendar, the conflict is flagged on the card - still before anything is written.
Confirm stays in your hands
Conflict detection is a heads-up, not an autopilot. CalendarFlow does not silently skip the slot, auto-find another time, or promise youll never double-book. You decide: edit the time, keep it, or cancel the draft.

Conflicts show up in the same confirm step you already use for:
- Create, reschedule, or cancel events
- Google Meet links when you ask for them
- Contact resolution for guest names
- Google Tasks when the utterance is a follow-up
Why check the calendar after still fails
Dictation tools put the request on screen. You still open Google Calendar, scan the day, and rebuild the event by hand - after youve already left the conversation.
Checking after save is late. CalendarFlow surfaces overlaps on the draft so you can fix them in the same breath as scheduling.

CalendarFlow connects through Google OAuth on Googles sign-in screen. Access is scoped to calendar, tasks, and contacts. CalendarFlow never asks for your Google password.
Conflict checks run against your Google Calendar. This page doesnt treat Outlook or other calendars as peers.
